We have only been on this property since latesummer 2019 and not much was accomplished that year. So far in 2020 we have had a lot ofdevelopment in creating garden space and planting of food and medicinal plants. We are experimenting with a variety of gardening methods such as permaculture and forestfarming. Most of our property is heavily wooded and learning what is already available to us andwhat will work given our space has been an adventure.

We are already able to provide some garden products and will be expanding this going forward.

BFF is the home base for a diverse array of projects and interests. It is a place of experimentation in homesteading, growth of the property, and development of ideas. Please join us on this journey into the the world of self-sustainability.

Our Animals

Our focus for animal husbandry here at BFF is on the continuation of heritage breeds or varietie that are relatively uncommon, on food products for people and our other animals, as well as being able to produce pets that are ethically raised.
